Tuesday Night

Hola Hermanos y Hermanas en Cristo!
Our team has had a wonderful second day here in the great city of Cochabamba. As many of our team gets ready for bed after a busy day, I am writing to you from the San Martin living room.  Our day started with a large breakfast and a devotional focusing on God’s faithfulness.  We had the opportunity to share the many ways we have all seen His faithfulness this far.  We have continued to see God working mightily in each of our lives and the lives of those we are working alongside in Cochabamba today.
After lunch we headed over to the church, Florida Norte Iglesia, for Vacation Bible School.  Mark, along with some other members of our team and some of the members of the church, lead the soccer clinic and then we went to the church for songs, a very creative lesson on creation and a fun craft.  We were able to each use our different gifts in various ways throughout the afternoon and before we knew it, it was time to head home for dinner.
We have a close friend of the San Martin family cooking for us and what a blessing she is!  It has been a true joy to get to know her and it has been wonderful to have her here to help all nine of us with cooking and cleaning.  Tonight she cooked us chicken and rice with a wonderful sauce.  Muy Rico!!
This evening we went back to Florida Norte to be with the congregation for a meet and greet.  We enjoyed singing (mostly listening to others sing in Spanish), praying, introducing ourselves and giving a gift to their congregation towards the development of the construction of their building.  We also had the opportunity to be a part of a receiving line in which we briefly met each member of their congregation.
It is so great to be a member of this team and to be in Cochabamba with each person on this trip.  God is so faithful and we are so grateful for His promises to each of us!
Blessings,

Kerry Trunfio
